As expected Jun Shihan George recently returned from New York where he was successful in attaining his 6th degree black belt.

his vast knowledge of the martial arts to others.

Walk-A-Thon
April 26th 2008
Fund raising walk-a-thon around the town of Mandeville. Present were our friends from the gym who hit the road with us at
5 am on Saturday. Fun was had by all, and thanks again to all the members of the gym who participated or lent their support.

July 1st 2007 was a historic day for Seido Jamaica. Seven seniors took promotion for 4th and 5th degree. (Sensei and Kyoshi)
Those who were successful were new Kyoshis, Vernon Williams, (St. Ann) Ronald Lyn, (Mandeville) John Royse, (Kingston)
and Debra Lyn. (Mandeville) Along with new Senseis Everett Simms, Dawn Simms and Enid Plummer, all of Kingston Dojo.
It is definitely an important milestone in the growth of Seido Karate in Jamaica and the Caribbean.
It was also the first time that so many of our most senior Kyoshis and Shihans along with Kaicho were being in Jamaica
at the same time.
All are now freshly enthusiastic and can't wait to begin the next chapter in there quest for knowledge.

Black belt promotion Mandeville
In March (2007) black belt promotion was held in Mandeville. It was a day of high spirits and comradeship. Senpai Bruce was
successful in attaining his Sandan and Kiesha, Danny, Carlington, Val, JoAnn and Jason all attained the rank of shodan. Congrats
to all who were successful for a job well done.
